Awesome, I Fucking Shot That

Now here's a film! Love music like everyone else? Good.

Like old school white boy rapping? Good

Like the Beastie Boys? Good!

Because that's what this film is about. Mix Master Mike, Adam Yauch (Director), Adam Horovitz, Mike Diamond, and Doug E. Fresh had an idea.

In Madison Square Garden, the Beastie Boys held a concert. But before the concert, they purchased 50 small, handheld DV cameras, and selected 50 random people from the crowd. They handed those 50 random people the cameras, and told them to shoot whatever they wanted. They could get the people in the crowd, the bathroom, buying beer, and of course, the Beastie Boys. And after the concert, they turned in the cameras, and made a film: The concert, and the crowd!

If you like concerts, and want to see what really happens at a Beastie Boys concert, this is the film for you. It's just the concert, non-stop good music, and concert action. The camera cuts are pretty fast, and of course, a little shaky, so people like me get a little sea sick when watching it. Either way, it's a fun watch if you love their music.

We’ll go with 6.75 of 10, just because it was a neat idea, and it's a concert.
